Artist Mitchell Tenpenny grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and began listening to rock, country, and R&B. Tenpenny became interested in songwriting while playing football at Middle Tennessee State University.
Tenpenny released a debut album, titled Black Crow in 2015. In 2018, Tenpenny along with Riser House/Columbia Nashville and released a self-titled EP. The EP produced the hit single "Drunk Me," which went to No. 6 on Billboard Country Charts." Tenpenny soon found more success with "Alcohol You Later," "Walk Like Him" and "Slow Ride " with Colt Ford.
On Tenpenny's latest single "Anything She Says", he was joined by the Australian duo Seaforth. Seaforth is made up of songwriters Tom Jordan and Mitch Thompson and has a country-pop sound.
The single is about everything a guy will do for his relationship. The video goes through the different and embarrassing things Tenpenny will do to for his girlfriend with Seaforth popping in and out throughout the video.
